Bong Revilla & Jinggoy Estrada JAILED

MNLA Philippines - ”We are not complaining,” detained senators Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada made this clear to a police official in the wake of reports that the two have been whining about the conditions inside their cells.
“I talked to Senator Bong ‎(Revilla). He wanted to send you his well wishes and he also wanted me to tell the media that he is not complaining about cockroaches and rats inside their jail,” the Public Information Office chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) told reporters on Wednesday.
When Revilla was admitted on Friday to the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, his family first complained about the lack of ventilation inside his 32-square-meter detention room.
His room was also allegedly infested with cockroaches and rats. But they did not complain outright about the crawling pests.

-->

Then came the issue of Revilla and cellmate Estrada, who’s on his third day in jail, refusing to eat the PNP food.
Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac, PNP PIO chief, said that Revilla and Estrada want the public to know that they never complained about their conditions in jail.
‎”Pinapasabi nila na hindi sila nagrereklamo. They return their food ration to us and we (distribute) it to other inmates there,” Sindac said.
The police official earlier said that there were ample food supplies for ‎the senators their families brought for them.
“Ever since, Revilla said he never had complaints. He said his lawyers were just joking,” he added.
‎To get rid of the roaches and rats at the PNP Custodial Center, Sindac said pest control measures are underway.
“We are doing this for all the inmates, not just for them (senators),” he said.
Last Tuesday morning, ‎they were rationed with salted eggs and daing (dried fish) for breakfast and paksiw na bangus (milkfish vinegar stew).
Last night, Estrada and Revilla slept early at 11 p.m.
Asked if what were their activities to pass the time, Sindac said Revilla had been watering plants outside his room in the morning and afternoon.
“As for Senator Jinggoy, I was not able to talk to him. He was inside his room and I did not want to disturb him,” Sindac added.

PORK BARREL TRIO ready for JAIL

SENATORS Juan Ponce Enrile and Ramon Revilla Jr. said Monday they were ready to defend themselves but were willing to go to jail after the Ombudsman filed plunder charges against them in connection with the alleged pork barrel scam.
Their statements followed Senator Jinggoy Estrada’s revelation Thursday night that he was willing to go to jail over the same case, and that he wasn’t surprised by the Ombudsman’s decision to file the charges against him, Enrile and Revilla and alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim- Napoles.
-->
In his privilege speech before the Senate’s plenary session, Revilla said his conscience was clear but he would be willing to go to jail even if he was innocent of the charges against him.
He thanked and praised his colleagues in the Senate, saying he looked up to them and admired them. He also thanked his family.
“To my wife and kids, we shall overcome!” Revilla said and sent tears to the eyes of his wife, Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado.
He also sang what he described as an original song that was aired accompanied by video footage of his interaction with his supporters.
He begged President Benigno Aquino III to lead the Philippines “not with hatred but with love,” and to avoid mudslinging.
“Lead the country towards unity and not partisanship. Push our nation’s interest and not your political agenda. The opportunity afforded  one to become President is very rare, and you are lucky, Mr. President,” Revilla said.
“Be the President of the country towards development and progress so that the six years entrusted to you will not be wasted... You still have two remaining years. It’s not right and not good that you and your administration will be remembered for sending to jail those who are not your allies.”
Enrile said his bags and books were packed. He was ready to go; he was only waiting for his warrant of arrest.
“I have been prepared since several days ago,” he said.
“I’ve already packed my things to bring them to Camp Crame if that’s where we are going to be confined.”
Enrile and Revilla made their statements even as House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. said Enrile should be allowed house arrest while being tried for plunder, adding his age should be considered. Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga, an administration ally, echoed him.
Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, head of the Independent Minority Bloc, urged the Aquino administration to be fair to all those implicated in the scam.
“Now that formal cases have been filed [against the members of the opposition] before the anti-graft court, the government should also work to file cases against their allies,” Romualdez said.
He reminded the President of his statement that the people accused of wrongdoing were innocent unless proven guilty.
“As declared by President Aquino himself, all accused are innocent until proven guilty,” Romualdez said.
“So I appeal to the public not to prejudge Senator Revilla based only on press releases and supposed expert opinions. The law provides that only the court, in this case the Sandiganbayan, can rule on the guilt or innocence of the accused.
“I stand solidly behind Senator Bong Revilla Jr. in his fight to bring out the truth in the plunder case he is facing over his alleged participation in the pork barrel scam.”
Rep. Barry Gutierrez said Enrile Estrada and Revilla should resign or take a leave of absence following he filing of charges against them.
Rep. Walden Bello urged the Sandiganbayan to immediately issue warrants of arrest against all those implicated in the pork barrel scam.
The 90-year-old Enrile said he was not only prepared to spend his remaining years in jail; he was also prepared to die.
He said his and the others’ arrest was imminent.
“That’s natural. It follows, but there are processes that will happen. Because of these processes, we have to wait,” Enrile said.

He said he did not intend to run to the Supreme Court.
“I will just participate in the trial of my case in the Sandiganbayan,” he said.
“All I can say is that this is an opportunity for us to defend ourselves. We are innocent of the charges.”
Enrile thanked Estrada and Revilla for appealing to spare him from arrest. He said he was prepared.
“Even if I die in my cell, it’s okay. I’ve got through life already,” he said.
Revilla told Aquino that jailing his critics should not be the only legacy he would leave behind. Divisive politics should stop.
“Mr. President, several persons have been named in the issue on PDAF [Priority Development Assistance Fund]. Many are being hurt. Many have been destroyed due to mudslinging that sticks to the skin and pierces one’s soul,” he said.
“Mr. President, what will happen to a person who had been destroyed if later on he was proven to be innocent? Will there still be hope to clear his name?”

Phil Younghusband denies breakup with Angel Locsin caused by getting Melissa Mendez's daughter pregnant.

According to the source, Phil Younghusband revealed that he actually admitted impregnating Denisse Oca, the daughter of veteran actress Melissa Mendez whose bearing a child for six months already.
Denisse Oca was dubbed by some reports as third-party on the previous romance between Phil Younghusband and Angel Locsin.

Can I ask we stop bothering Denisse, Angel & myself about this issue. Lets respect all parties and let everyone be happy & concentrate on their lives with their families & careers. At the end of the day, we all have to ask ourselves the question, are we making peoples lives worse? Or are we making peoples lives better? And If we are not making peoples lives better, we are wasting our time. I hope you can all understand. Thanks!

Nonito Donaire beat Simpiwe Vetyeka 2014

It wasn’t the most savory of endings but it’ll have to do for now. - MACAU
Nonito Donaire Jr. overcame an accidental headbutt cut that left him bleeding from his left eye in Round 1 to defeat Simpiwe Vetyeka by a fifth-round technical decision at the Venetian Resort in Macau.
The fight was stopped a second into Round 5 by referee Luis Pabon, with all three judges turning in the score 49-46, scoring the fifth round 10-10. The victory earned Donaire the WBA featherweight title, but he still remained dissatisfied with the result. “It does take away from the satisfaction,” said Donaire afterwards at the post-fight press conference.

Donaire (32-2, 21 knockouts), of San Leandro, Calif., began the fight at a measured pace, landing jabs and straight right hands on Vetyeka (26-3, 16 KOs). A split-second after the bell ended Round 1, Donaire dropped to the canvas after a headbutt split his left eye open. A rabbit punch also appeared to land as Donaire dropped to the canvas.
Nonito Donaire Sr., who worked his son’s corner for the second straight fight after reuniting last year, said his son was disoriented when he returned to the corner. Donaire Jr. said he thought he was in a sparring session and refused to sit down initially.

Round 2 saw more headbutts that worsened Donaire’s cut. Racing against time, Donaire had to take matters into his own hands or watch his quest for a featherweight belt go for naught.

Donaire pressed the action in Round 3, hurting Vetyeka with a right hand. The South African grabbed onto a rope to steady himself and remained in defense mode for the rest of the stanza.
Donaire’s aggression continued in Round 4 when he dropped Vetyeka with a left hook. Vetyeka, who won the belt with a sixth-round TKO over Chris John in December, steadied himself slowly but was hurt once more with a left hook before the end of the round.
"I couldn’t see on the right side, it was blurring. I couldn’t see his right hand where his power comes from,” said Donaire, the BWAA’s Fighter of the Year for 2012. “After the fourth round I couldn’t go any further."

Afterwards, Donaire promised Vetyeka a rematch, which promoter Bob Arum considers to be a good idea.
"You don’t like to see a fight end early but he’s the champion and he’s a real man and he said he didn't like to win the title that way so he’s going to give the South African kid a rematch," said Arum.

Arum says he is considering pairing the rematch with Manny Pacquiao’s fight against an unnamed opponent on Nov. 23 in Macau, which would mark the first time the Philippines’ two best fighters of recent times fought on the same card together.
"I think if Pacquiao's fight ends up here, why wouldn’t we add that to the card in addition to Zou Shiming’s title fight plus another fight. It’d be one of the greatest cards that they’re not going to top for years, no matter what happens with boxing in Asia,” said Arum.
